HEAVT DAMAGES. AUCKLAND, March 28. In banco before Justice Gillies, the case Wm. Wilson v. Minister for Public Works, being a claim for £2500 damages was heard. The action is brought by the manager of the Patea Boiling Down Company for injury occasioned thereto by tbe construction of the New Plymouth and Foxton railway. Jas. Russell, on behalf of claimant moved for further time, and by the consent leave was granted for the action to be heard during the November sittings of the New Plymouth Court costs, £2 28, to be paid by claimant.
