ELECTRIC LIGHTING.
CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 24. The Lyttelton Harbor Board has con sidered several offers to light the hafboi by electricity, and have accepted Milet and Co. 's, on behalf of the Guloher Co., for 16 lights, each 2800-oandle power. The plant is to cost £1827, and working expenses £1106 a-year ; six months' trial.
