IMMIGRATION.
To the Editor of the Star. Sir, — As it is my intention to nominate one or two persons as immigrants to the district, could you (through the medium of your paper) inform me if the out-fit fees are returned in case the candidates decline to accept the proposals, if so you will oblige A Subscriber. [We should decidedly think so, but no officei' in Hawera can give definite in-^ formation. Better write to f Mr, C. D' Whitcombe, of New Plymouth.— Ed. Stab.
