INCREASE OF CAPITAL.
Received "25/1, 2 p.m. LONDON, January 24. At a meeting of shareholders in r th,e Bank of •• Australasia to-day, a ballot was taken on the proposal of the board to increase the capital by an issue of new shares, to the amount of four hundred thousand pounds. Scrutiny showed that the majority of shareholders were in favor of an increase of capital.
