"Mufti" (Class A, Stud Book) is by the premier stallion, Traducer, who has for the last three seasons stood at 100 guineas a mare. Traducer's stock have everywhere performed creditably, and include such noted animals as I/iirline, Calumny, Le Loiqj, Betrayer, Trump Card, Fish-hook and others. Traduccr's pedigree is a very brilliant one, as it includes all the most valued strains of the English stud for the labt century. On the dam's side Mufti is also remarkably well connected, being out of Flat Iron, by Peter Flat— Emma by Gil Bias — Emily by Operator — Flora Mclvor by Rouse's Emigrant, &c. Peter Flat was one of the most successful performers that has left England, and possesses a splendid pedigree. [See Stud Book.] Flora Mclvor was one of the beßt mares ever foaled in Australia, and her descendants aro always eagerly sought after by breeders and racing men. Flora Mclvor was the grand dam of Figaro, Bay Middleton, Cossack, Nutwith, Zoe, and Waimea— the latter being the dam of Manuka, Toi, Toi, and others. Toi Toi is the dam of Kalcapo Haralccke — dam of Korari, Totara — sire of Longlands, Papupa, Eama Rama, and other well known performers. It will thus be seen that Mufti is well worthy the patronage of breeders who wish to keep to racing strains. Mufti is a golden chestnut, standing 15 bauds 3 inches high, ana is splendidly proportioned, and of excellent constitution. Mufti's racing performances are too well known to require any reference here. Mufti will travel between HAWERA AND OPUNAKE. Leave Manaia, Monday morning ; visit Okaiawa and Normanby ; arriving at Hawera in evening. Leave Hawera Wednesday morning, for Manaia. Leave Manaia, Thursday, midday, for Opunake. Leave Opunake midday, on return to Manaia, on Saturday. Terms— £4, Single Mares; a liberal allowance for more than one mare. Payment by promissory note, to be given at time of service, and due 4 months after date. For further particulars, apply to T. CRANWELL, ni,w Groom in Charge.
