BERLIN, December 15.

The German press is at the present time much agitated over the question of the Bu6sinn frontier armament. Austria and Germany are now taking steps to renew their alliance.

It is understood that the efforts of M. Giers, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs, on his recent visit to the Austrian and German Courts, to enter into an alliance with those countries, were quite unsuccessful.
