FIRE AT ONEHUNGA.

ONEHUNGA, This Day.
A fire occurred at Onehunga at 2.30 this morning, and destroyed eleven buildings; no water was available. It originated in a hay-loft attached to the Hibernian hotel, and there is reason for suspecting that a worthless fellow named Philip Pennell, who slept iv the loft, caused the fire either by accident or design. The buildings destroyed and insuraces thereon are — Hibernian Hotel (Seccombe'b), iso New Zealand; Oats, bootmnker, £'170, New Zealand ; buildings, dwelling, and Bhop, ±'250, South British ; Pegler's dwelling and workshop, £280, South British ; Blake's house and shop, £50, South British ; Clarke's dwelling, £25, New Zealand ; NicholPs carpenter's shop, £70, New Zealand ; Yates' double shop, £200, Colonial ; Good Templar Hall, £150, North British ; and £50 South British.
