[PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.! CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The notorious Murphys were again before the court yesterday. Michael Murphy, who had realised all his property with the supposed intention of clearing out, was remanded on a charge of intending to desert his wife. John Murphy, charged with failing to support his mother, offered to pay a year in advance. The offer was accepted, although he avowed his intention of leaving.
