REJECTED.
(per united press association.)' , ALEXANDRA, This Day. At tbe native meeting on Saturday Tawhiao and Wahanui spoke, declining the Government proposals, as Tawbiao could not give up his rnana as King. Mr. Bryce expressed his great .sorrow, and said it, was a dark day for tbe natives. He then left for Auckland.
