There is still a brisk , demand for good upstanding young horses for coaching and spring cart work. We quote — hacks, from L 8 5s to. Ll7 ; light harness, Lll to Ll9 ss ; spring cart horses, Ll9 to L 2 315 5; active light draught, L2B to L 35. Cattle.— An unusually large number of Btore cattle have been brought forward, and prices have been a shade higher than at previous' markets, whilst dairy stock is Btilllow. The supply of fat cattle is sufficient for requirements, and slightly easier in price, being fully 3s per 1001b lower than the previous week. ' Sheep. — A good number of shorn sheep was brought forward and sold at — wethers, 14s 9d to 178; ewes, lls 3d to 14s 3d; lambs, verj plentiful, 8s 9d to 15s, according to quality. Pigs.— ln fair supply, and at increased values, especially for dairy-fed porkers
