ENGLISH OFFICERS IN EGYPT. Received 1/11, 2.5 a.m. LONDON, October 31. Tho Times to-day states that it has received information that the English Government disapproves of Baker Pasha's scheme for the reorganisation of the Egyptian army. In the House of Commons to-day, Mr. Gladstone, in reply to a question, stated that it was a fact that the Egyptian Government had applied for the assistance of certain British officers in the conduct of an expedition against a false prophet in Soudan.
