THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SCHEME.
(per united press association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Chairman of tbe Selwyn County Council stated that he had heard that the Government had received applications to the extent of seven millions of money under the Roads and Bridges Construction Act.
