ONE million seven hundred and fifty thousand acres of Crown lands will shortly be open for pastoral lease { in Provincial District of Otago, New Zealand.' This country' is at present held j under lease in forty-six runs until the Ist March, 1884, and will again be ■ ■ offered in runs, suitable to the nature of the country ; but no lessee will be allowed to take' up' more than will 1 carry twenty thousand sheep or four thousand head of cattle. ; The leases will be for a term of ,], ] years to be hereafter determined ; ' . but in np case will any lease be for a ; period exceeding twenty-one years.
