(1889) loan 107. New Zealand U per cent. (1878-1904) loan, 101|. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, unchanged at 475., and New Zealand ditto at 425. to 445. 6d. Adelaide flour, ex store, 335. Australian tallow— Best beef, 445. 6d. ; best mutton, 475. Galvanised iron is quoted at £2 10s. for Gospel Oak, f. o. b. EGYPT TO PAY THE PIPER, Received 13/10, 1 p.m. LONDON, October 12. Mr. Leonard H. Courtenay, M.P. for Liskeard, Cornwall, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, addressed his constituents at Torpoint last night. In the course of his speech he referred at some length to the Egyptian question, and stated his ■ opinion that Egypt must be required to , defray all expenses attending the suppression of the rebellion in that country. ;
