At the Dunedin Autumn Meeting, he finished third for the Dunedin Cup, won by Sir Modred, 7st. 101b.; On Dit, 7et. 21b., second. Fishook, Lady Emma, and Volunteer also ran. At the same meeting he won the Queen's Plate, 2 miles, weight for age, beating Lady Emma, Nautilus, and Sylvanus.
