FRAUDULENT BANKRUPTCY.
(PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, This Day. Kobevt Goodsir was charged at the Police Court with fraudulent bankruptcy. The trustee's evidence was that the sworn liabilities amounted to over £1800. The assets were entirely valueless ; they included some 70 horses, said to be lunning in the North Island. Accused stated that he had Bold a farm to his brother for he believed about £1600, but he got no cash, as he was indebted to him, although he believed only to the amount of £600 or £700 if all was reckoned up. His Worship said the case warranted a committal, but the case was then adjourned to allow of , evidence for the defence.
