The Land Board met on Monday. Present— Messrs. Kelly, (in ,the chair), Standisb, Crompton, and Syme. . EXTENSION OE TIME. An extension of time for six months for the payment of instalmeats due by Thomas Wolfstbuer and J. Rankin was allowed. • 1 / APPLICATIONS FOR LAND. The- following applications to purchase land on deferred payments were acceded to: — Michael Zimmerman, section 46, block 6, Huiroa, containing 111 acres ; Thomas Lee, section 22, block 6, Huiron, containing 76 acres.. CROWN GRANT. On the application, of Mr. Fookes, tlie Board agreed to recommend tbe issue of a Crown grant for section 12, block 14, Huiroa, to W. J. Ingle. ! BAD ROADS. ' ' / A letter was read from J. Stiller, complaining of' the impassable state of' the road leading to his se'etion (No. 27) in the Huiroa District, and requesting the, Land Board to construct a culvert on ; the, road, or to allow him to select another section. ,— The Secretary was instructed, to inform Mri 'Stiller that the Board could 'do nothing in the matter. , . , . 1 i <-"/''■ '' 1 • > '■ !
