Jones,'\wio turned' Queen's evidence against his companions, was sentenced to two' years ; Moses Prince, for embezzlement of the Druids' funds, to two years ; T. Kelling, stealing from the person, to twelve months. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. \ The Supreme Court sessions closed yesterday. Thomas Innes, brewer, of Sydenham, charged with perjury, was acquitted ; Mary Berry pleaded guilty to stealing goods on several occasions, and got three years ; a Maori from the Chatham Islands, charged with an indecent assault, was, acquitted ; Matilda Hansen, larceny from the person, ten months. AUCKLAND, This Day. At the' Supreme Court yesterday, John Davis, charged with stealing £10 from Thomas Davis, 1 hptelkefiper, Kamo, was acquitted.
