New Zealand securities, 5 per cent. 10-40 loan, advanced to 107+ ; and 5 per cent. 1889 loan to 107 ; 4£ per cent. 18791904 loan, 102£. Colonial breadstuffs continue quiet. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, 525. per quarter; New Zealand do, 50.3. ; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 375. ; Australian tallow, unchanged at 445. for best beef, and 455. 6d. for best mutton. Best Scotch pig iron unchanged at 425. 6d. A portion of the cargo, which consists of 4500 carcases of mutton and a quantity of beef, ex steamship Lusitania, was sold by auction to-day. The mutton realised an average of 6 J per ft. The cricket match at Liverpool was resumed to-day. The weather was fine, but the wicket was heavy. The Liverpool Club in their first innings scored 112; B. G. Steel being the highest scorer, with 60. The home team, being 128 behind the Australians, followed on and put together 137 runs in their second innings. The Australians, requiring 10 runs to win, went in for their second innings, but time ' only permitted of the'r scoxlng 6 for the loss of one wicket.
