MESSES. HUNGER AND NOLAN'S REPORT. (By Telegraph. l (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) , Auckland, Saturday. Horses.— Owing to bad weather, very few Tiaye been brought forward. There is a demand 'for good plough horses, also spring-cart horses. Cattle.— Supply moderate. Dairy cows slightly lower in price ; goodstore cattle in demand. Beof, last Thursday, was not sufficient for requirements ; good beef selling at 26s per 1001b; fat cows, 23s 6d per 1001b. Sheap.—Fat wethere, 2s. 2d. per 81b j ewes, in lamb, 8s to 16e each. PiKs.-— Short of requirements, andsold at 3d per lb.
