MESSES. HUNTER AND NOLAN'S REPORT. [By Telegraph.] (from our own correspondent.) Auckland. Friday. Horses. — At the Durham yards last Friday there was scarcely the usual number yarded, and prices ruled in favor of buyers. Cattle. — At Junction yards on Tuesday the Bupply of fat stock was over requirements, and consequently bidding was slack, and prices showed a falling off from last week's quotations. There was a better inquiry for dairy cattle, cows at their profit selling from LG to L 9 15s, according to quality. Sheep. — A very large number yarded, fat sheep showing a slight increase in price, whilst for a large draft of assorted stores keen competition was elicited, and they were all sold at an advance on late quotations. Lambs plentiful, and at slightly lower values.
