Tenders will be received up to Tuesday, the 25th April, at 5 p.m., for Eeceiving and Carting Gravel from the Railway Station to any part of the Borough. The contractor must be prepared to supply as many carts as the Engineer may require. A deposit of £10 must accompany tender. Tenders addressed to the Chairman, Hawera, will be received up to 11 o'clock on Saturday, the 22nd instant, For Getting and Carting 300 yards Gravel, to be deposited on Main Eoad, from Town boundary to Tongahoe side. The Board will pay for gravel, but the contractor will be responsible for any damage. Also, for delivery of 400 yards Gravel on Normanby - Hawera Eoad, from Ohangai Eoad to Roper's corner.
