Amongst the various exhibits at the Auckland Annual Show, held on the 9th of November, we observe that Messrs. Sharland and Co., wholesale and manufacturing druggists, had an unusually attractive display of articles made at their laboratory in Auckland. Amongst one hundred varieties of useful household specialities, were — Lime fruit syrnps, cordials, quinine, and ginger wine, grape juice salens, baking-powder, lemon and other essences, sarsaparilla, perfomery, and toilet preparations, medicinal products, chlorodyne, he, all of which obtained the first prize. The general appearance of the goods, together with the quality, reflected credit on the- manufacturers, and were considered 1 equal to any imported either from London, Paris,, or New York.
