Sire — Mr. Kettle's imported horse Sir William Wallace. Sir William Wallace is a beautiful dark bay with black points, and waa foaled January 7th,. 1872. For symmetry, strength, and action he stands unrivalled. He is perfectly quiet, docile, and tractable. No torso approaches him in quality and quantity of bone, muscle, and hair. He is a sure foal-getter, and his stock are turning out first-class. He has taken the Champion Prize 'iii WangaauPtjwo years in succession, viz., in 1878 and 1879. His stock has. turned out first-rate in Canterbury and Wairarapa, and he has proved himself a sure foal-getter.
