Sire — Mr. Kettle's imported horse Sir William Wallace. Sir William Wallace is a beautiful dark bay with black points, and was foaled January 7th, 1872. For symmetry, strength, and action he stands unrivalled. He is perfectly quiet, docile, and tractable. No horse approaches him in quality and quantity of bone, muscle, and hair. He is a sure J-oal-gefcfcer, and liis etoek- ai«© turning out first-class. He has taken the Cham-, pion Prize in Wanganui two years in succession, viz., in 1878 and 1879. For pedigree and further particulars, see large cards. Fee — Single mares, at £4 10s. ; reduction made for two or more mares. Groomage fee, 2s 6d., to be paid when the mare is served. Forrest, of Treesbanks, Lanarkshire, out of their first-class prize mare. He was got by the well-known prize-winner, Campsie, the property of Mr. Riddell; he gained the first premium of JB4O, in the Glasgow Market, of the Calderwater Society ; also, the first premium of £40 at Kinross ; also, the Highland Society's first premium of £30 and gold medal at Kelso ; also, the first premium of £40 at Perth. Prince Arthur, when a two-year-old, gained the second premium for the County of Dumbarton ; also, second at the Johnstone Open Show ; also, the second at the Highland Society's Show, held at Inverness. 817d31 O SERVE MAB E S IN THE Manaia, Manutahi, Patea, and Waverley Districts, The pure-bred Clydesdale Stallion, DAINTY DAVIE. Dainty Davie is a rich mottled bay with black points, standing 16£ hands high, immense bone and muscle, good feet, and hair of the finest quality, with splendid action. His stock has turned out first-rate in Canterbury and Wairarapa, and he has proved himself a sure foal-gettei*. Dainty Davie will travel as follows :— Patea, on Mondays and Tuesdays; Waverley, on Wednesdays ; Kakaramea, Manutahi, and Hawera, on Thursdays, and at Lloyd's Hotel, Manaia, on Friday forenoons.
