LONDON, September 16.
The Irish Land League Convention, now sitting at Dublin, has passed resolutions declaring the intention of the Land Leaguers to oppose any attempt to carry out the provisions of the Irish Land Act until all the prisoners now in custody have been released.
It has been agreed between the English and French Governments that the present commercial treaties shall be prolonged for a period of three months from November, when th y will terminate. Iv the meantime negotiations will be carried on between the two Powers with a view to bring about a permanent futnre understanding in regard to commercial relations.
Accounts to hand from the Kentish hop grounds give unfavorable reports of the state of the crop, which has been partially destroyed by the recant excessive rains. WASHINGTON, September 19.
