Sealed Tettdeks, in duplicate, will be received by the undersigned, up to Thursday, the 15th day of September, 1881, for the supply o£ Rations to the Armed Constabulary, or other Colonial Force, between the Patea and Mokau Rivers, for the Twelve Months ending the 15th October, 1882. Specifications can be seen at the Police Stations, Wanganui, Patea, Hawera, and Normanby, and at the Constabulary Offices, Opunake, Pungarehu, and New Plymouth. Each Tender must be accompanied by a cheque for> (£25) twenty-five pounds, made payable to the ReceiverGeneral only, and not to bearer, and marked by a Banker as good for twenty one days, as a guarantee that the Contract will be taken up. The successful tenderer will require to find two approved sureties, of »100 each, for the due fulfilment of the Contract. Tenderers to specify the names and addresses of their sureties, on their Tenders. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. H. E.
