In pursuance of the provisions of the Education Act, 1877, it is hereby notified that a Public Meeting of Householders of the Manaia District will be held on the 17th day of September, 1881, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of Electing a School Committee and proposing boundaries for the School District. The Board directs that the First Meeting of the School Committee shall be held at the place appointed for the Election, and immediately thereafter ; and at such Meeting a Chairman shall be chosen, whose name shall be at once forwarded to the Board's Secretary.
