Sir, — We, tbe undersigned, request you will convene a public meeting, at an early date, for the purpose of taking steps to urge upon the Government the necessity of establishing a District Court in Hawera ; and also the supply to the local Land Office of copies of all Standard Plans and Deposited Plans relating to lands in the West Coast Land District, North Island, and of that part of the Taranaki Land District lying between the West Coast District and the Patea River, and matters connected therewith.
