MELBOURNE, Yesterday. The Victorian revenue for the year 1880-81 amounted to £5,107,000, being an increase of £553,000 as compared with the year 1879-80. It is believed the Governor will decline to accede to Ministers' request for a dissolution of Parliament, but it is not definitely known. Professor Pearson has declined the Agent-Generalship at London. ADELAIDE, Yesterday. The South Australian revenue returns for the quarter ending 30th June have been published. The receipts are shown to be £2,011,000, being an increase of £179,500 as compared with the year 1879-80. It is thought the actual amount is £27,000 below the Treasurer's estimate. There has been a falling off during the year of £30,000 in land revenue, and £20,000 in Customs revenue.
