' Auckland, Last Night. Horses. — There has., been a marked improvement in the market, and an increase in the supply. A large number were sold at satisfactory prices. We quote hacks at L 5 10s to Ll7 10s ; light harness, Ll2 to LlB 158; medium draught, L 22 to L 29; draught, L4l.
Cattle.— There has been a good deal doing, but little fluctuation in value. Dairy and store stock have been moderately plentiful, but there has been a short supply •of really well-fatted cattle. At Papakura, •on Wednesday, there was a large supply of dairy and store stock, with but lif tie alteration in value.
Sheep. — There was about an average number yarded. Store sheep maintained lost week's prices. For fat wethers an advance was obtained; lambs sold from 8b to 13s 6d. Pigs.— Moderate supply; 2Jd per lb live weight was the ruling price.
