Mr. "W. Courtney reports : — At my cattle sale at Glenavon on the 28th April, there was an unusually small attendance of buyers, and though 150 head were yarded, not more than 40 or 50 sold. Cows and heifers at calving made good prices. There were few hand-fed calves, most of the stock being 18-month to 2^-year-old steers. The following prices were realised : 3 hand-fed calves, 32s 6d each ; 5 big yearling heifers, £2 193 ; 2 roucrh yearlings, £1 17s 6d; cow and calf £4 10s ; 4 old store cows, £% 5s to JB3 178 6d ; cow, in milk, £h 7s 6d ; small fat cow, £A ss ; 2 nged dairy cows, £1 2s 6d and JB7 10s ; 2 heifers, in milk, £o 7s 6d ; 3 do, forward in calf, £4> 17s 6d. £5, and £5 15s; 1 cow, in calf, £7 10s ; 14 fine 18-month-old steers, .£3 10s; 1 useful mare, .£11 ; 1 2^-year-old light draught colt, .£ll 10s.
