FOOTBALL MEETING,
! A meeting of footballers was held at the Empire Hotel on Saturday evening. There was a good attendance and Mr. W. G. White was voted to the chair. - MINUTES. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed; BALANCE-SHEET. The Secretary read the balance-sheet, which showed a deficit of £2 11s. Bd. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. On the motien of Mr. Cunningham,
teeconded by Mr. Wanklyn, Mr. George Bayly was re-elected captain, and Mr. Cunningham -was re-elected secretary. The following committee were elected for the ensuing year, viz.: — Messrs. Adamsop, F. Baddeley, F. Lukis, Mason, and White, with the captain and secretary as ex officio members. SUBSCRIPTION. It was resolved that the subscription for the ensuing season should be ss. UNIFORM. Magenta arid white jerseys and stockings, and white knickerbockers, is to be the uniform for the season. OPENING OF THE SEASON. The first practice is to take place on Saturday next, when it is hoped there will be a good muster. Judging from the names on the committee, there is 'every reason to believe the club will have a successful season.
