Tenders must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside "Tender for Gravelling Contract, No. . ." Specifications, &c, may be- seen at the above offices, and at the Camp, Rahotu. All Tenders must be accompanied by a cheque for the amount named in the specification ; such cheque to be specially marked by a banker as good for twenty-one days, and to be in favor of the ReceiverGeneraVs deposit account only, and not to bearer or order. Parties tendering "will be required to prospect for and find a supply of* gravel as near the work as possible. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
