THE MINISTERIAL BOGLE.
TO THE EDITOR OF THS STAR. Sir, — On the arrival of a Minister iis uiysreriou3 apparition may be »en haunting the vic'nitv of whatever otel tbe Minister may have taken up is temporary ?esidence. It imagines self to be the sole representative of ie v'ews of the people of Hawera and Lirrounding districts. Under this ngular delusion, our Micister'al ogle constitutes itself permanent eputatiotiißt to tbs district, and overing like a hawk on the watch, j'zes the first opportunity of darting ito the presence of, and boring, every fillister that vis'ts this place. At ••st, the constant regularly with bich the Ministerial bogle int'ouced itself seemed rather to surprise linisters, but they have become used
> its piesence, and. evince no surprise t its appearance. Po»mp»*ly thry ppeared to view it as the restless |>irit of '.'owe departed lewil politician, ut they now regard this theory as bsurd, and view the Ministerial bogle 9 some garrulous and harmless local lononiauidc. — I am, &c,
