There were 64 children altogether in attendance ; 37 presented themselves for inspection in their respective standards ; "29 passed, and eight failed. The. Normanby school is considered to be in a .highly satisfactory state, as it is only about ten months since it was previously inspected. The Inspector stated in a note to the Chairman that "the school in many respects made - a satisfactory appearance."
