The s.s. Orient has arrived from Australia with a shipment of Anstralian fresh meat. The occasion was made by the directors of die Orient Company of giving a grand luncheon on board the vessel. Various dishes were served, which consisted of imported meat. A number of guests were invited, including many leading colonists. Sir J. Vogel, Sir Arthur Blytlie, Mr. Stanton, and Sir JDaniel Cooper "were present, and made speeches on the occasion.
