"VTOTICE is hereby given, that the «*- > Quarterly Licensing Meeting, for the purpose of taking into consideration all applications for such licenses as by the Licensing Act 1873 Amendment Act, 1874, are authorised to be granted by Licensing Courts, of which due notice shall have been given to the Clerk of the Licensing Court for the district of Waitotara and Fatea, will be held at the Resident Magistrate's Court, Carlyle, on Tuesday, the 7th day of December, 1880, at noon. SALE OF CROWN LANDS. 25 sections of agricultural land situate in the Kiwitea Block, Manawatu, varying in area between 150 and 320 acres, will be offered for sale at public auction, at the Land Office, Wellington, at noon on Tuesday, the 23rd day of November, 1880, at the up--et price of 21s. and 275. 6d. pev acre, for cash. Also, 8 sections in the same block, varying between 124 and 210 acres, at the same place, will be open to purchase on deferred payments, at 30s per acre, by application on Wednesday, the 24th day of November, 1880. If two or more applications are put in i for the same section, it will be put up to auction between the applicants on the day following. Note. — The land is situated 10 miles from Feilding, and 8 miles from Halcombe, and is connected thereto by good roads. Each section is accessible, the timber on the road lines within the blocks having been felled, and 33 feet of roadway cleaned.
