The Patea left Lyttelton at 7.30 p,m. on Monday; brought up in Ohau Bay at 5 p.m. on Tuesday; left at 2 a.m. on WedBpsday, And snAveA 6S Pafcea W At-12.30 p.m. The stock arrived in splendid condition. The steamer also brought fish ova for the Hawera Acclimatisation Society.. The Patea was" entirely unexpected by tbe townspeople, considering the heavy gale the last two days.
