IT is hereby notified that 127 Sections of Land in the above-named locality will Vje offered for sale on deferred and immediate payments The sections on deferred payments will be open for application on Monday, the 25th October, at the Land Offices Carlyle and Hawera. Sections for which there are more than one application will be submitted to auction, between the applicants only, on Thursday, the 28th October, at Hawera. The rjrice of land on deferred payments will be £5 an acre. Five shillings per acre will have to be deposited on making application. Each applicant will only be allowed to apply for one section on deferred payments. Applicants for land on deferred payments may send their applications and i deposits, with statutory declaration as required by the Land Act, 1877, through post to Land Office, Carlyle, Patea, to arrive on or before the 25th October. Envelopes should be marked " Application for deferred payment land, Waimate Survey District " The land on immediate payments will be sold by public auction, open to all bidders, on Friday, the 29th October, at Hawera. Upset price, £4< an acre. On immediate payment there are 88 sections, ranging from 50 acres to 100 acres each. On deferred payments there are 39 j sections, ranging from 50 acres to 80 acres each. Colored lithograph plans may be seen at all the Land Offices of 'the colony on and after the 15th instant. OKAIAWA VILLAGE SETTLEMENT. Crown JLiands Office, Patea, 22nd October, 1880. THE land will be open for application on Monday, the Ist of November, at the Land Offices, Carlyle and Hawera. The Village Allotments will be sold for cash immediately on purchase, and the Suburban and Rural Allotments will be offered on deferred payment; the Village Allotments at £10 each; the Suburban at £6 per acre ; and the Rural at £5 per acre. No person will be allowed to acquire 1 more than one section upon either immediate or deferred payments. If there should he more than one application for any Village Allotment offered for cash, the said allotment shall be put up to auction amongst the applicants. If there should be more than one application for any Small Farm Allotment offered, the right to occupy shall be determined by lot amongst the applicants. Nearly all the Village Allotments contain one acre ; the Suburban Allotments range from three to ten acres ; and five of the Rural Allotments contain 50 acres each. The lands disposed of by sale upon deferred payments shall be subject to the provisions relating to suburban and rural land of Part 111. v£ fche Land Acb, 1877, and to the provisions of section 9 of the Land Act 1877 Amendment Act,' 1879.
