11 HAWEEA. MONTHLY SALE. Hawera, Friday. Mr. Freeman E. Jackson reports:—At the Hawera yards to-day, 155 head of cattle were yarded. Pair prices were realised, and all the pens were cleared at the auction. Bullocks, M 10s; steers, £3 17s 6d; fat steers, £6 5b to .£6 12s 6d; cows, £A 2s 6d; milch cows, £6; yearlings, .£2 6s to £3 Is. AUCKLAND CATTLE MAEKET. [Specially Telegraphed to Star.] (pis united press association.) Auckland, Friday night. Mr." Alfred Buckland reports:—Prices were slightly higher than last week, and ranged from £8b to 32a per 1001b. for fat . cattle. Fat' sheep were offering in full n imbers; prices were lower, and barely reached 3d per lb in the wool.
