SALE OF MR. McKITTRICK'S STOCK. Mr. Cowern sold Mr. McKittrick's stock, Ac, on Friday, at the farm. Whenuakura. Milch cows fetched over L 9; cows and calves went at L 6; store cows-in calf, L 4 17s 6d; draught horses, L 46 odd; trap horses, very fair L3O; riding hacks, good, L 25 odd. NEW PLYMOUTH. Messrs. Bauchope and King report;—On Thursday we held our fortnightly cattle sale at Waiwakaiho. We have had some few iaiprovepients made in our yards, and ■they now work admirably. Cattle came forward very freely, and a large quantity were disposed of. We yarded 160 odd head, ■which, with the exception of 25, were all sold at very fair rates. Young stock were in good demand, and good cows near calvinjf, but only a few of the latter came for--ward. Store and old cows are almost unsaleable. There is good inquiry for draught horses, but very little demand for hacks. Prices were—4 small calves, 25s each ; 8 do, 355; 21 yearlings, £2 5s to £2 10s; 40 mixed 18-months to 2-year-olds, JE3 10s to M; 25 steers from 2£ to 3 years •old, £4, to £5 10s; 2 fat steers, £6 ss; 4 do, £b Bs to £7 7s 6d j 1 fat cow, .£6 15s; 4 3-year-old steers, £5 6s 3d; springing cows, £Q 10s, JB6 15s, £7 3s 6d, JES 12s 6d, £5 15s, and .£6 ss; heifer and calf, £A ss; 2 heifers, j!5; 1 do, £A 10s; springing heifer, £A 15s; small do, £3 12s 6d; 2 store cows, £Z ss; large bullock, .£9 15s; cows, M 15s, £5 ss; Hereford bull, J64; draught gelding, .£l9 10s; do mare, iJ2O; old do, L 5; hack, JJ7 ; tip dray, L 10;1 0; 1 set trap harness, L 7 10s; spring trap and harness, L 10;1 0; tip cart, L 9; old Sydney dray, L 6.
