Wanganui, September 8. CATTtH.—At Waverley, 164 head were yarded—Store bullocks, £5 ss. to £5 10s.; cows, £i 28. 6d.; steers and heifers, £A. At the yards to-day, 174 head were sold— Fat cows, j66 10a. to £7 la. 6d.; grown steers, £Q; cows, J63 12s. 6d.; 2-year old steers, Mto £& 10s.; yearlings, £2125. 6d. Shjcep.—At Waverley, 520 were penned —Hoggets, 7s. At the sale to-day, 650 fat sheep were in the yards—Mixed sheep, 12s. to 14s. Horses.—As usual, dull, and hard to sell. Pies.—Breeding sows, 355.; porkers, 10s. to 168.64. • . Expobts.—l34 cattle, 1805 sheep, and 19 horses.
