TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR.
Sib, — In Mr. Gibson's letter to the Education Board, Wanganui, the public are gravely misled. Mr. Gibson was the person who acquiesced with Mr. Quin in forwarding the letter re rent, &c, to the Education Board, without any other members of the committee knowing, till after the deed was done. Now, I ask the public do they think Mr. Gibson a sensible man to bring forward a motion of censure against our worthy chairman, Mr. Quin? He (Mr. Gib-
8On) ftiSO leads the Education Board to believe that Mr. Hill occupies the teacher's residence, when Mr. Hill lives in his private house. As to Mr. Gibson's assertion that the committee were coerced by Mr. Quin, I certainly was not, as I censured both Mr. Quin and the teacher, and ought to have included Mr. Gibson.
