A Bill for the reform of the Constitution will be introduced by the Government in the Legislative Assembly, but the discussion on the measure will be deferred until next year.

Dunedin, Tuesday night.
Ralph's tannery, at Xaikorae, -was burned down, on Sunday. The property was insured in the Transatlantic Office for £200.
Wellington, Tuesday night.
The latest news from Parihaka is to the effect that 17 more natives were arrested, but, on reaching the gaol, 8 were released, and told that if they were caught fencing again they would be taken to Wellington and turned adrift. They then started for Parihaka.
The Deceased Wife's Sisters Marriage Bill has been reserved for the Queen's assent.
