MORE NATIVE ARRESTS NEAR PARIHAKA.

[Specially Telegraphed to Star.] (from our own correspondents.) Armed Constabulary Camp, Pukehinau, Friday. Four natives were arrested at the fences yesterday, and the same number this morning. Captain Blake and R. J. Duncan, auctioneer, of Wellington, are at Parihaka. The natives, when arrested, are very sulky and silent ; but the first lot arrested were cheerful, but hungry. [per united press association.] New Plymouth, Friday. The native prisoners were brought to town last night and put in gaol. They were arrested in three different parties — two on Tuesday, four on "Wednesday, and four yesterday. They made no resistance whatever. The prisoners state that Te Whiti intends sending four men every day to erect the fencing. The prisoners brought into town are not all Tarauaki nativos, two being Waikatos, two Wanganuis, three Ngatiawas, and three Taranakis. The road from New Plymouth to the camp is now open for cart traffic. This is three miles past Parihaka. After the first natives were arrested, there was a meeting at Parihaka, at which 400 natives were present. The natives all wanted to go in a body, and continue the fenoing, but Te "Whiti prevented them. Four more natives were arrested at the oamp to-day. The Hinemoa has arrived for the purpose of taking the prisoners away.
