COLLIERY EXPLOSION.— II 9 MINERS KILLED. London, July .14. It is expected that there will be a deficiency of 0,750,000 quarters in the Russian wheat crop.. London, July 15. A terrible colliery explosion occurred to-day in a mine near Newport, in Monmouthshire,' by which 119 miners were killed. Constaninople, June 15. The Turkish Government has engaged an official of the Berlin Treasury to undertake the re-organisation of the Turkish finances. The Ambassadors of the Great Powers to-day presented a collective note to the Sultan, embodying the decision of the recent Berlin Conference in regard to Turkish affairs.
