Suspension 'of Hostilities.
It was noticed^that the fire of the "besieged bushrangers was not continued after one o'clock, but it was believed that l)an Kelly and Hart intended to lie quiet until night, and under cover of darkness to make their •escape. The police for a time ceased firing, and consultation was held among the officevs as to what was best >next to be done.
