Capture of Ned Kelly.

He was onty wounded, however, and it appeared he was still determined to carry on the conflict, but Steele rushed him, and caught the hand in which Kelly held his revolver, the only weapon with which he was armed. He fired one shot alter this, but without effect. When on the ground he roared with savage ferocity, cursing the police vehemently. He was stripped of his armor, and then became quiet and submissive, after which he was borne to the railway station. Great praise is due to Dowsett for the plucky manner in which he assisted the police. He was only armed with a revolver, and got very close to the outlaw.
