[Specialist Txlegbaphed to Stab.] (PXR UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, Friday night. Mb. Alfrbd Bdckland reports — Fat cattle in less numbers than for some ■weeks past. Prices realised for best steers, 20s each ; for best Auckland fatted do, 24b to 26b; for ship-borne, 22s per 1001b. Sheep in average numbers; there was a good demand for better sorts. Prices ranged from 2}d for inferior to 3d for qest quality.
